edit: as usual, something is clunky here so it was working fine when I was uploading the GIFs in the preview...but once I hit to post, they are now idle images...

GIFs do function; they just need to be optimized and kept under 7.00 MiB.

Maybe the gif images where too heavy and newgrounds decided to convert them to .webp to save disk space.
