Feed of the blood of your enemies! You will absorb there lifespan!

The biggest enemy I have is me.

If you'd had infinite drawing skill+speed, what type of stylization would you stick to, toonish one or more realistic? Your thoughts about Tartakovsky's Primal?
P.S. Happy B-day man! Wish you +50hp, legendary item and prosperity to you and all your close ones.

Thats a great question! I would definitely stick to my cartoony style, but still trying to have the human anatomy more or less realistic in some characters of the same setting (see me second Phone Wreckers trailer), since I like to mix things up. I think Tezuka Osamu played a role in inspiring me to go with this approach, to have both cartoony and realistic characters together.

About Primal, I still have not see it, but I will eventually. I was a big Tartakovsky fan ever since Dexter, but I think I lost a bit of love in the Symbiotic titan show. It just felt so unoriginal and predictable, as if he took a random sci-fi anime from the 70's and put it in his own trademark style.

And thanks man, I definitely need more HP in case coronavirus comes my way .

When do you plan on getting some rest? You look like you've been running on energy drinks to a point where your animations will probably start being sponsored by Reign.

Also, there's no link to a Patreon or tip jar on your profile. What if somebody loved your animations and wanted to throw a small bit of love your way? How would they be able to do that?

Haha I avoid energy drinks, but I sometimes get a sip of the magic potion that is coffee. One sip is enough to get me going when im in a slump.
And that's a good question about the pateron links, I always forget to put them, because it still feels like e-begging and Im not quite there I guess in terms of fan numbers to have that privilege in getting crowdfunded.

@Nekidcoboy @Ant0on Then you definitely gonna like Primal, it's as non-mainstream as it can gets. Genndy finally spread his wings.

What a morbid way to start a birthday post. XD But happy Birthday a while back regardless! That figure looks awesome too (is it plastic? Clay?).

Questions hmm... how's the corona situation affecting you and your art? More/less time for it? Do you currently manage to make a living off of this or have to resort to other, less inspirational occupations too?

Thanks man, the figure is some sort of solid clay I think. I actually dont know what it is, but it feels very solid like a rock lol

Corona stuff doesnt bother me much, just mentally exhausting as people are paranoid around me so they dont wanna go out anywhere. I get bored fast if I dont go out for a while. And yeah, I sorta make a living off of youtube stuff, but thats never stable as any shift in the algorithm can mess things up fast. But its still better to get some income with your own animation than to be a wage slave I think.
How are you in Sweden?

Actual authentic stone sculpture in miniature form maybe? ;) Sounds like futureproof material.

Nice. Would've thought you might be the type to easily stay holed in and hunker down with animation entirely for days on end though. :) But you manage without other jobs at all, spontaneous algorithm-changing wages or no? Freelance work on the side? For sure, it's the dream to really work with what you dream to work with, as long as you can live. :)

As for me things aren't so different either, though I'm working from home instead of communing a few days a week. Webshop admin. Seems like a good field to be in right now, as long as you're selling something useful. :) Personally I am the type of person who can just spend entire days inside and never tire, just get tired if I do, you do need to get out into the sun a bit and run around a little.

Yeah, I can sustain myself with the Youtube income for now, but thats not exactly with the content I want to make :) Parodies run the platform, so to build an audience who watch original content will take a loooong time. Still Im happy with the small steps Im making. What do you sell btw? Can you send a link to your shop?

Ah alright, seems like a compromise most artists have to make at least. :) Some day maybe, total freedom! Hmm sure, I'll send a PM, I'm just employed though, not running my own business quite yet. :)
