So I wanted to share with you guys something Ive been cooking the past few months.
Meet Lance and Maple
Together they are on a mission to destroy every smartphone on the planet.
Why you ask? Because smartphones are toxic. Well its the human mind that's really toxic, but you get the picture. Too much addiction to the little glowing screen these days thus the duo decides to put an end to this. Dont wanna spoil too much, but maybe they have their own reasons for this mass tech destruction.
Although I had these characters for about 8 years in some dusty sketch books (their gimmick was initially to destroy all sorts of technology cause it kills human interaction) it was because I was inspired by the reaction of that E,E n E smartphone parody that made me want to bring them to life somehow. I was amused by how pissed so many people were when I challenged their love for phones (I especially liked the hate PM's I got from a few users).
Anyway, let me guys know what you think.

I think those who sent you hate PMs for no better reason than to bitch about your cartoon should go fuck themselves. As for the animation, I'm sure it'll be swell. You haven't made a terrible or lazy cartoon before, and Phone Wreckers is a much healthier way to deal with the negativity than letting it get you angry and unproductive.
